Since 2000 Stanley Zamor has served as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Primary Trainer. He is certified in County, Circuit Civil and Family. Mr. Zamor is a private mediator with a multi-disciplinary business, and has the distinction of being selected, as well as appointed, to Federal and State governmental agency rosters, and also serves on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee 17E. In addition, Mr. Zamor has the distinction of serving as an arbitrator for Circuit Court and for FINRA (f/k/a NASD, participating in securities/consumer claims) and the AAA (American Arbitration Association). Mr. Zamor implements a unique hybrid of conflict resolution styles; and has a keen ability to manage high-conflict personalities/complex legal issues while assisting participants in achieving mutually beneficial consensus.
Mr. Zamor is also on the exclusive roster of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. This national organization is comprised of select neutrals who meet a strict standard and are vetted to provide the highest of neutral services. Mr. Zamor also served as President of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, Inc. (the oldest ADR nonprofit organization in Florida, established in 1988). Mr. Zamor regularly lectures for organizations and universities on the processes of Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”), various legal/practical issues regarding ADR, Human Behavior and Conflict Resolution. Mr. Zamor’s unique style consists of strong evaluative/transformative mediation techniques/skills and has proven to be successful at “bringing the parties to the table” and facilitating complex issues in a variety of conflict areas. Mr. Zamor’s facilitates mediation conferences in the areas of: Construction, Workers Compensation; Complex Litigation/Tort; Insurance; Eminent Domain, Medical Malpractice, Family, Securities, Entertainment and business/financial matters. Mr. Zamor has performed extensive forensic document analysis, jury research, complex legal research/writing, securities assets analysis, appellate drafting, due diligence, massive eDiscovery Litigation Management; and trial/support team management.
Mr. Zamor facilitates presentations on ethics, bullying prevention/intervention, analyzing and resolving interpersonal conflicts, diversity, business relationships and disputes, and conflicts regarding labor unions and business organizations. Mr. Zamor has authored and contributed to numerous publications, including (but not limited to) Miami Herald, Business Monday, Legacy section – “The Promise of Mediation: Making Medical Malpractice Litigation More Humane”; “Professional Sports Athletes: Higher Net Worth Does Not Have to Mean Higher Conflict”; “Common Ethical Issues in Mediation: What Mediators Must Consider that Parties Do Not Know”; “Mastering the Trial Notebook in Florida”; E-discovery; “Managing Personality Conflicts Within A Law Firm” and “E-discovery and Forensic Computer Researching”.
